If there is one thing that goes better with hair than our customized hair care products, it’s accessories. Specifically, the pretty little accessories made by our friends at Astrid & Miyu! The London-based jewelry brand is well-known for its mix of delicate yet striking contemporary jewelry pieces, and recently even launched a collection of pearl-embellished hair accessories that immediately stole our hearts. It’s no wonder then that when we heard that the celeb-adored brand was crossing the pond to unveil its second New York City pop-up this month, we jumped at the chance to host an exclusive one night only event with them!
Held on Thursday at the brand’s temporary Soho outpost, the pop-up event kicked off with complimentary ear piercings by Astrid & Miyu’s head piercer, Sam Hayler, as well as a free Function of Beauty-hosted braid bar featuring summer plaits created by hairstylist Franny Berkowitz. Guests were able to choose between four stylish braids before going to get their ears pierced with one of Astrid & Miyu’s cute hoops, studs, or cuffs, all the while sipping on rosé and exploring some of our best-selling hair care fragrances.
