A third-party compliance agency, Biorius, conducted a toxicological review of our individually-filled formulas and Target formulas that confirmed all of our findings on safety! Let’s talk about Biorius, what they do, what they check for, and how function products were determined to be safe.
What’s Biorius?
Like we mentioned, Biorius is a third-party (not connected to function of beauty) regulation agency that checks cosmetic safety + standards that employs 50 cosmetic specialists and assist thousands of brands in ensuring their products and ingredients comply with EU + UK regulations.
What are their results for function?
Biorius performed a review on all function of beauty products. The result? A safety report that listed no follow-up actions (aka, no safety concerns to address).
These reviews were, of course, performed on top of our own tests and safety assessments that we ran before launching our retail products, so Biorius’s work acts as an additional layer of confirmation on our safety standards. Remember, all function of beauty products and ingredients are always clean, vegan, cruelty-free, gluten-free, sulfate-free, paraben-free, and safe to use.
